How it affects community

Obesity is a complex disease involving an excessive amount of body fat1. It is a global issue, with 2.1 billion victims. Nearly 30% of population where 60% of men and 50% of women are either overweight or obese2. By now in the whole world, people who are obese are outnumbering those who are underfed by nearly two and half times 3.

The dangerous consequences of obesity are mostly felt in human health. People who have obesity are at higher risk to be victims of many serious diseases and health conditions such as are: Type 2 diabetes, Coronary heart disease ,Stroke and low quality of life 4. There are reasons why there are so many people victims of this disease, it usually results from a combination of inherited factors, peoples diets and choices of exercising 5.

The diet is the most common one, since the fast food chains were always cheaper than other restaurants or sources of food. The fast food may lead to excessive calorie intake and with the large portion sizes and increased energy density of food it increases the risk of obesity. 6The spread of fast food was also due to its brilliant advertising and marketing, so in the end, everyone could afford their products no matter what country they come from. The obesity epidemic is not restricted to industrialized societies; in developing countries, it is estimated that over 115 million people suffer from obesity-related problems.7Since the 1970s obesity almost tripled globally, the fast food chains traveled abroad and CocaCola was the first American company who entered communist China. Now it controls half of the Chinese drink market. From that moment Chine raised  to 32% of chinese adults being obese. 8

Obesity is defined by Body Mass Index (BMI). Weight that is higher than what is considered as a healthy weight for a given height is described as overweight or obese. If your BMI is 25.0 to < 30.0 or higher, it falls within the obese range. 9

Possible solutions of an obesity

Obesity is a complex problem that can not be solved by one solution. Policy makers,  state and local organizations, business and community leaders, school, childcare and healthcare professionals, and individuals must work together to create an environment that supports a healthy lifestyle. There are several ways how can state and local organizations promote and support healthy living10

State and local programs can help to prevent obesity. Resources are available to help disseminate consistent public health. This  evidence is based on practices for state, local, territorial and tribal public health organizations, grantees, and practitioners11.

Among the kids it is very important to support them to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. One 2014 analysis found that breastfeeding reduces risk of obesity in childhood.

Some tips for parents: feed growing children with appropriate portion size, build early relationship with healthy food, incorporate exciting and funny physical activity, reduce your child screen activity, make sure everybody has enough sleep, make sure you know what your kid is eating outside of the home12.

Also community can help supporting healthy living which can decrease amount of obese people13. Community efforts should focus on supporting healthy living in a variety of settings. Learn about different efforts that can be used in early childhood care, hospitals, schools and food services14.

Achieving a healthy weight is not short dietary changes: it is about lifestyle that includes healthy eating and regular physical activity.

At last you need to set up your daily exercise plan, that should be regularly repeating

After these points you weight should go down15

Top 5 reasons for obesity ( no in particular order)

2. Physical activity

Physical activity can be a big part of gaining weight or reducing it. Physical activity meaning sports or exercises can help reduce weight or bring balance to the body. Physical activity such as training or going for walks helps keep the body functioning healthily and by that
helping break down fats and clean the body while keeping it in shape. People stay inside watching tv or playing games rather than going outside which is understandable but even that one walk around the park can make you healthier

4. Medications

Side effects from medications have been known to vary but some of these side effects include gaining weight. In some cases, it can’t come around different but after when the treatment has finished doctors do advise their patients new routines to not only get back into their normal lives and make sure the treatment works but also to get rid of some of those side effects. It is medicine such as insulin, thiazolidinediones, and sulfonylureas or Antipsychotic medicines such as haloperidol, clozapine, and even antidepressants such as amitriptyline, imipramine, paroxetine, and sertraline. Some of these medications can also bring patents to stress eat or unknowingly gain weight and the reason is the medication itself and what it contains.

1. Genetics

Sometimes gaining weight and not being able to get rid of it can be from a genetic problem the same way losing weight can be a result of a high metabolism. To give an example people with a slow metabolism or diabetes or a family gene passed down an inheritance gene. Even though those are legitimist reasons for obesity, and being thin doesn’t mean being healthy, when it does come to a level of unhealthy gain and that begins affecting majorly the individual different measures have to be taken.

3. Poor diet

People these days can come to eat different foods or foods from “modern marks” and their diet gets affected by outside influence. An example could be MacDonald’s their food might taste good but eating it every day   will become unhealthy and that can lead issues. A poor diet and bad food can bring unhealthy habits and bad digestion and decomposition of food in the body that can lead to gaining wait, oily skin, high blood pressure, congestive failure and high cholesterol.  Bad foods can be unhealthy for both the body and mind. Different variants of products and foods can change the body, but it can come in either a positive or negative way. For example, when green apples are good for stomachache it is not a medically affirmed method of stopping stomachache, but it is known to help. So, eating some specific foods and staying away from others could help with a healthier diet. This can be hard to find what your body is missing and what it needs to get better. Staying away from fried things and some fats can help reduce gain weight and even help with digestion.

5. Money

It is easier to buy junk food rather than some other healthy foods since it doesn’t cost much. Junk food or engineered foods can be easier to get rather than finding another healthier variation. This is good for the people marketing with the junk food, because more people buy it its more available. Even doing sports or getting treatment for weight loss costs, for example after losing eight the skin that is left that removal costs money or exercise machines. So in conclusion money can be an important reason for weight gain or control over weight loss.
